I strongly believe in myself and accept the challenge to create my own identity. I was born in a small town, Siliguri in West Bengal, but I never belong to a single city due to my father’s transferable job. A mix of several cultures honed my personality. Although it sounds stunning, there lie few drawbacks too.
I changed six schools and never enjoyed a stable friend circle in my childhood.
One day we visited a book fair, and my father gifted me with a series of Indian herbal books (Banaspati). At that age, I never understood the knowledge it maintained within but with growing age, I started to read and comprehend those books.
In my second year of graduation, pharmacognosy came into my life. Pharmacognosy is a core subject that deals with the study of plants and other natural resources as a possible source of the drug. That can be considered as an advent of my engagement with the natural remedy and alternative therapy. I selected Naturopathy and Alternative medicine as my specialty for my higher studies and became a lecturer in a college. Then, I got married and shifted to Delhi. Post marriage, I started my carrier in the hospital industry but after a few years, I felt I was missing my teaching profession and joined the education industry as a teacher of pharmacology and natural medicines.
I conceived during this phase, and my little angel came to my life. After a sabbatical, I started my new carrier as a medical writer. Among several research-oriented projects, I used to enjoy projects based on natural health science, and nutraceuticals. I had my clients from different spheres of the healthcare system which broadened my expertise to research and write on different medical specialties.
I have started NitaNaturale to uphold my passion for naturopathy, herbal medicine, superfood, and nutraceuticals. The bigger objective of this is to create interest among people to know about nature’s secrets and their medicinal value, and the viewers can directly connect to me with their suggestions and challenges and I will help in providing personalized care and guidance based on prevention and holistic care.
